We will spend time getting to know you and your child by reviewing the health and dental history forms and conversing.   Our office welcomes parents to be with their child during everything. To help your child know what to expect, before Dr. Huston does his first exam and cleaning, an assistant may "tell, show and do" on a stuffed animal. We will do everything we can to put you and your child at ease. We also encourage you to talk to your child about what to expect before coming in, without any language that might cause apprehension. Depending on the situation, topical fluoride may be applied. Fluoride varnish has been proven to cut the number of cavities in half for babies, toddlers and children at high or moderate risk for developing dental disease.
