Dr. Rodolfo R. Burquez has a busy group practice in the heart of Whittier. He provides Family and Cosmetic Dentistry with a well-trained, bilingual, and courteous staff that includes two dentists. The practice is situated in an Art Deco building that has been completely refurbished to include six modern operatories. It sits on a corner lot with good parking, it is handicap compliant, and it has a view into McNees Park, and beyond to the Whittier Hills.Dr. Burquez received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from of the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry in 1993. He has since provided high quality dentistry to the Latino community in the Los Angeles area, and he has been involved in leadership positions in organized dental associations. In 2003, Dr. Burquez was recognized for his services to the Latino community by President George W. Bush. He was awarded a prestigious Presidential Appointment to the Advisory Committee on Training in Primary Care Medicine and Dentistry, in Bethesda, Maryland, where he served four years. The Advisory Committee generated several reports that called for the elimination of health care disparities in the United States, and an increase in access to health care by minorities and underserved populations.
