Dr. Moncada has dedicated her practice to the diagnosis and treatment of various Head and Neck Disorders since 1993.  She completed a post-doctoral Fellowship in Orofacial Pain and Dysfunction in conjunction with a Master's Degree in Oral Biology in 1993 and a Sleep Medicine Residency Program in 2012 at the UCLA School of Dentistry.  The goal of her training was to bridge the gap between medicine and dentistry when evaluating and treating orofacial conditions.Dr. Moncada evaluates and treats patients with temporomandibular disorders, orofacial pain, headache and sleep apnea.  As is common with many chronic conditions, there may be multiple underlying conditions with which to contend.  Dr. Moncada is prepared to do a comprehensive evaluation and include other specialists.
